Occupancy Taxes Bring Revenue to our Community!

The Essex County Board of Supervisors voted in Local Law No. 2 of 2020 entitled "Essex County Room Occupancy Tax Law" which requires short term rental properties to be registered with the county and charge a 5% tax on rentals. Click HERE to see the Local Law.
